Nintai Jewellery is selected for Liberty of London British Design Opencall
2010 saw Nintai Jewellery being selected as one of the British design talents to face an expert buying panel at 'Liberty's Best of British Open Call.' Emerging talent from milliners to womenswear to interior designers had the chance to show off their skills and potentially earn a place on Liberty's buying floor and a new BBC2 series, 'The Buying Game' presented by Theo Paphitis. The show will follow the designers who are short-listed and chosen to sell their wares at Liberty, a name synonymous with the very best of new design since its doors first opened in 1875, and now one of London's best-loved emporiums. Designer Debbie Tebbutt had this to say: "It was a buzzing atmosphere with TV cameras and photographers everywhere. The competition was fierce, but the whole experience exhilarating. Whilst my jewellery creations where positively received, on this occasion they will not adorn Liberty's well renowned shelves, but who knows another year, another opportunity!"
